We’re happy to be able to announce that in just two weeks, streamfleet will be bringing its sequel (#SSI2) to a screen near you. Whats the difference this time? There will be more teams, more games, and most importantly of all, more explosions! For those who aren’t familiar with the Streamfleet Showdown format, it is markedly different to the traditional AT format, with each team picking from a ‘stable’ of locked in fittings and compositions that must be submitted before the tournament starts. This effectively means that a team cannot bring the same ship twice in the tournament, ensuring that each match is unique, and no best composition or strategy rises...

Streamfleet descended on the beautiful city of Amsterdam, to bring Evesterdam to EVE players and viewers across the world.This was the first stop of the EVE Invasion World Tour and streamfleets first full coverage of a CCP event. We were approached by CCP earlier in the year and invited to stream all of the world tour. This was not something we took lightly, but relished the chance to show what we could do. Friday saw our two teams (CCP and Streamfleet) get together for lunch before the event set up started. Watching CCP’s Guard and Tara run across the road for hugs will always remain in memory (lets not mention CCP Tara forgetting her bag in the excitement). In the beginning there was an idiot, but that idiot had someone who believed. Today we learned that amazing person is leaving CCP. Guard had been at times a guiding light, a white knight and an inspiration to me and the community he helped to grow. Streamfleet could not have asked for a better community Dev to give us their backing. Svienni has always been the face of EVE for me, permaband frontman, to comedy sketch fall guy. He will leave a massive void and some very very small shoes to fill, but those shoes are gold sneakers.From Twitch v EVE 1 to the world tour, he and the community team has supported streamfleet and the streaming community and given us the tools to gap the bridge between EVE’s creative content creators and CCP Games...

Today we learnt that CCP Guard has decided to leave CCP and take up a new adventure in another company in Iceland. I have no doubt that this was a difficult decision to make, after all he has been at the company for a significant amount of time (I think its 16 years), has seen changes in the game, in the staff and in the community and for many he has been the face of CPP. It goes without saying that he will be missed. But what does CCP Guard mean to me... I first met Sveinni when I was lucky enough to win a pass to the CCP offices back in 2013 - I turned up with a 1yr old child strapped to me and 5 year old not really sure why we were in an office building on his holiday to Iceland - rather than drag the 5yr old around the office...
