Streamfleet code of conduct.
Streamfleet is the streaming community of EVE Online. We are here to help streamers and content creators enjoy, improve and promote their work. We are also here to bring like minded providers together, so that we can all collaborate towards content and support each other.
We are volunteer run, this means that we are all here because we love what we do within the community. Streamfleet is player driven content, we have close ties with CCP, but primarily everything achieved by our community is player driven.
The ethos we believe in is below, this is not a “you must” or a “guide to life”. It is just a reminder of how to be a thoughtful and contributing member to a fun community.
- Create content, have fun, enjoy your time here
- Encourage others and help where you can, we are a team here
- Be polite, not to just our members but everyone you encounter when representing streamfleet
- Swearing is not banned, but try not to use it in a derogatory fashion against others
- Please refrain from using social media to argue, when a DM conversation could fix things that much easier
- There are a few things that are banned within streamfleet: Racism, misogyny, homophobia, bullying or sexism. These will not be tolerated in any shape or form.
- We all have beliefs and political stances on things, if it is eve related, then by all means talk, but please refrain from real life religion and politics.
As you can see, this is about just being a nice person around those in the community, this list is not exhaustive, some common sense should also be applied.
In the current climate of social media and other outlets, please remember that behind each screen and keyboard is a real person. We all have feelings and opinions, we are all human. Remembering that will go a long way.
If you would like to help improve our community, or take a bigger role in what we do, please let us know. The streamfleet staff are listed in discord and will be more than happy to help.
