Dear pilots of New Eden,

It is with a heavy heart that we need to inform you of a delay to the streamfleet showdown invitational that was scheduled to debut on the 20th April.

As part of the pre-tournament checks were being completed it was discovered that there was a problem with the tournament tool on the TD server. This tool is key to us providing you with a quality viewing experience.

We are hopeful that this issue can be overcome and will be working with CCP over the coming week to try and resolve this problem.

In fairness to the pilots who have spent 2 months practising and theorycrafting their fits we have made the decision to delay the first day of the competition to the 27th April. The expectation is that the finals will be completed on the 28th April.

If the tool is not able to be fixed in this timeframe, we will endeavor to continue running the tournament without it. This is in order to make good on the hard work that all involved have volunteered to the cause, however we do not feel any stream we could produce would meet the high standard of quality that we set for ourselves when bringing content to the EVE community.
